
The fuel key is
underneath the
gasoline tank
• The machine shall be grounded adequately to prevent
possible electric shocks, or if there is a ground loss
condition in the generator, or in the power appliances
connected into the machine. Especially when the machine
is equipped with a wheel set. Correct grounding also
helps to dissipate static electricity oftentimes accumulated
in the non-grounded appliances.
• Connect the terminal (
A
) to the ground source ( ) to
ground the machine through the included cable (
B
).
• Do not connect into the commercial
power output.
• Do not connect into a second
generator.
• To prevent misusing the power
equipment, the machine shall be grounded.
We are not liable of damage to the equipment, or
personal injuries resulting from not installing the
grounding security measure before operating the
machine.
Start Up

• Ground the machine. Disconnect all the appliances
from the connection panel (
C
) and turn off the
generator switch (
D
).
• When using the welder and before
starting the motor, connect the electrode holder cable
and the grounding cable as described in the
“Connections” section in page 12.
• Double check the fuel key (
E
) is open.
• Set the switch (
G
) into the ON position (I).
• Pull the choke lever (
F
) to be set into the OFF
(closed) position.
• Slowly pull the starter handle (
H
) until feeling
resistance in the line. Then, pull with force to start the
motor. Carefully return the handle to
its place. Do not let go off the handle, otherwise it will
slam shut abruptly and get damaged.
• Once it is on, push the starter lever (
F
) to be set in the
ON (open) position and wait five minutes to warm the
motor.
