Tightening Up

• Wear protective gloves to prevent
injuries when changing or setting the cutting disc.
• Disconnect the tool from the power source.
• Lift and push backwards the cutter head.
• Lift the retractable guard to uncover both screws in the
plate fixing the retractable guard onto the upper guard (

).
• Remove the screws ( a ).
• Lower the retractable guard to uncover the screw
securing the cutting disc ( B ).
• Press the shaft lock (
C
) while rotating manually the disc
until it gets locked.
• Remove the screw securing the disc altogether with the
washers ( D ).
Cutting disc replacement
• The cutter head runs along the rails (
29
) to move away
or approach the cutting guide regarding the job to be
done.
• Loosen the rails blocking lock ( 30 ) to move the cutter
head back and forth.
• Once is set into the desired position, fasten the rails
blocking lock to fix the cutter head into that position or
leave it unblocked to make long cuts.

• Remove the cutting disc.
• Apply a drop of lubricant in the inside and outside
washers onto the side where they make contact with the
cutting disc.
• Set the new cutting disc into the shaft assuring the inside
washer is sitting correctly on the disc.
• Reverse the former steps to fasten the disc, return the
inside plate, the retractable guard and the retractable arm
into their original position before using the tool.
• Double-check the guard is operating normally before
starting the tool.
• Turn on the saw for a little while to verify the disc is
correctly assembled.
