Description
The Multicount is a multiple display counter designed for applications such
as vending machines where several items need to be counted simultaneously.
Six count inputs are provided, which can be connected to switches, or
electronic signals (count frequency limit 200Hz). The count value is displayed
on an 8 digit starburst display, any of the six counters can be selected for
display using the front panel button. The selected counter can be reset by
pressing and holding the front panel button (reset function can be disabled via
software - requires optional development kit ). The counter can operate as a
6 input counter without the need to configure via the PC.
The counter has a built in SPI interface allowing a PC to be used to configure/
communicate with the unit (when using the optional development kit ,
part no - mcdevkit). If you will be communicating with this unit using your own
SPI interface equipment, the SPI communications protocols are available
from Trumeter, information can be downloaded from www.trumeter.com

Any signal cables connected to this device must not exceed 30 metres in
length.
If signal cables are installed that are routed outside the building, it will be
