Note:
Before starting installation,
the supply voltage of the electro-
nic control unit must be dis-
connected from the terminals. It
is not sufficient simply to switch
off at the operating unit. Installa-
tion while still under voltage may
result in the destruction of the
timer switch and the electronics
of the heating system.
1. Decide on the installation loca-
tion, then drill a hole 15 mm in
diameter for the cable pass, and
insert the cable through it.
2. Secure the timer switch with
the two screws provided, and
run the connection cable to the
electronic control unit of the hea-
ting system.
3. Unscrew the lid of the electro-
nic control unit and expose the
cable pass. Attach the plug to
the accessory pin strip (15-pin)
and screw the cover back on
again.
Note:
If the 5-metre cable exten-
sion is used (special accessory
Art. No. 34000-38400), the ex-
tension must be plugged into the
timer switch. The standard 3-
metre connection cable then ser-
ves as an extension to the con-
trol electronics.
