Checking the battery charging status
The battery comes with an integrated battery level indication.
The battery status is displayed as follows by the three LEDs of
the battery level indication (

Mounting the saw chain and guide bar
Warning
The chain is sharp. Wear protective gloves when
changing the chain.

Before changing the saw chain, remove any dirt from
the groove in the guide rail, since dirt deposits may
make the chain come off the rail. The deposits may
also soak up the chain oil. The consequence would be
that the chain oil does not or only insufficiently reach
the bottom side of the rail so that the level of
lubrication is reduced.
1. Remove the battery.
2. Place the device onto a firm and flat base.
3. Unscrew the securing nut (

) in counter-clockwise
direction and then remove the chain sprocket cover (

).
