7. General safety regulations
1.
Read all the instructions before using this application. When you use
this device, you always take basic security precautions, including the
f ollowing:
If the freezer has been placed in a horizontal or inclined position for a
period of time, wait 24 hours bef ore connecting the device to the
power supply.
•
Use this device only for the purpose described in this
Iinstructions f or use and care.
•
This freezer must be properly installed before use in
accordance with the installation instructions.
•
Never unplug the freezer from the power cord. Always tighten
the plug and pull it straight out of the socket.
•
Immedi ately repair or replace any electrical service cables that
are frayed or otherwis e damaged. Do not use a cable that has
cracks or abrasion damage along its length, connector, or end
of plug.
•
Before cleaning or repairs, remov e the power plug from the
power outlet. Note: If this product is for any reason, we
strongly recommend that a certified technician perform the
service.
•
Do not use electrical appliances or sharp instruments when
def rosting your f reezer.
•
If your old freezer is not in use, we recommend that you
remove the doors. This reduces the possibility of danger to
children.
•
This f reezer should not be sunk or installed in a closed
cupboard. It is intended for a free-standi ng installation only.
•
Do not operate your freezer in the presenc e of explosive
vapours.
•
This device is not intended f or persons (including children)
with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been supervised
or instructed for the use of the device by a person responsible
f or their saf ety. Children should be supervised to make sure
they are not playing with the device.
•
If the power cable is damaged , please contact the nearest
representative in your city.
•
