5. COMPUTER FUNCTIONS (CONT.)

PROGRAM OPERATION

1. MANUAl

• 

Select “Manual” using UP or DOWN key, then press ENTER.  The 1st parameter “Time” will flash and the value can  

 

be adjusted using the UP or DOWN key. Press ENTER to save value and move onto the next parameter to be  

 adjusted. 

Note

:  If the user sets up a Target Time for a workout, then the next parameter of Distance cannot be adjusted.

• 

Continue through all desired parameters, pressing START/STOP to start workout.  

Note:

  When one of the workout parameters counts down to be zero, the computer will sound a warning and stop the  

 

workout automatically. Press the START key to continue the workout to reach any unfinished workout parameters.

2. PRE-SET PROgRAMS 

• 

There are 12 program profiles ready for use. All program profiles have 16 levels of resistance.

 

Select one of the pre-programs using the UP or DOWN key then press ENTER.  The 1st parameter “Time” will  

 

flash and the value can be adjusted using the UP or DOWN key. Press ENTER to save value and move onto the  

 

next parameter to be adjusted. 

Note

:  If the user sets up a Target Time for a workout, then the next parameter of Distance cannot be adjusted.

3. BODY FAT PROgRAM

   Select the BODY FAT Program using the UP or DOWN key then press ENTER.

MALE will flash and the gender can be adjusted using the UP or DOWN key. Press ENTER to save gender and  

 

move to the next data.

• 

175cm will flash and HEIGHT can be adjusted using the UP or DOWN key. Press ENTER to save value and move  

 

to the next data.

• 

75 kg will flash and WEIGHT can be adjusted using the UP or DOWN key. Press ENTER to save value and move to  

 

the next data.

• 

30 years will flash and AGE can be adjusted using the UP or DOWN key. Press ENTER to save value.

• 

Place both hands on the hand pulse grips and press START/STOP to start measurement. After 15 seconds the  

 

display will show your Body Fat %, BMR, BMI and BODY TYPE.

BMR

 (Basal Metabolism Ratio):   Your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) shows the number of calories your body needs to  

 

 

 

 

operate. This doesn’t account for any activity, it’s simply the energy needed to sustain a  

 

 

 

 

heartbeat, breathing and normal body temperature. It measures the body at rest, not sleep,  

    at 

room 

temperature. 

BMI

 (Body Mass Index):   

BMI is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men  

    and 

women. 

Press START/STOP KEY to return the main Display.
BODY TYPES:
There are 9 body types divided according to the FAT % calculated. 
• 

Type 1 is from 5% to 9%. 

• 

Type 2 is from 10% to 14%. 

• 

Type 3 is from 15% to 19%.
