INSTALLATION

Configuration 2 for Digital Drain Pumps*

When the shower unit is turned on, a digital signal is sent to the drain pump
electronics telling the pump to start and the pump speed required. When the
shower unit is turned off, the digital signal stops. This tells the drain pump
electronics to stop; generally after a preset time delay. This type of pump varies the
‘gulp’ or pump speed based on the flow rate from the shower unit, the flow rate
is measured by a flow sensor fitted within the shower unit and communicates this
information to the drain pump through the digital signal.

The pump manufacture provides a three core cable for connection to the shower
unit.
Connect the drain pump control wire as below:
1 - +5V to +24V
2 - 0V dc
3 - Signal

details of operation.
