Wenn das Wasser kocht, sollte das Gerät schnellstens eingestellt werden durch herausziehen des
Netzsteckers.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

Jedes Gerät sollte, je nach vorhandener Wasserhärte, regelmäßig entkalkt werden. Sie können
dies mit handelsüblichen Entkalkungsmitteln oder einer 5% -igen Essiglösung (Erwärmen und
dann kurze Zeit einwirken lassen) durchführen. Nach dem Entkalken die Kochkanne gründlich
mit viel Wasser ausspülen indem sie einige Male frisches Wasser mit dem Gerät kochen.

Vor jeder Reinigung Netzstecker ziehen, Gerät keinesfalls in Wasser tauchen.

Das Gerät Außen nur mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen und keine Scheuermittel verwenden.

benutzt wird.
• Die Garantie wird ebenso unwirksam, wenn Eingriffe am Gerät von unbefugten Personen, d.h. nicht
vom Fachpersonal eines zugelassenen technischen Kundendienstes, vorgenommen werden.

IMPORTANT
• Before using the appliance, please read the instructions for use and the safety instructions carefully.
• Do not connect the appliance before checking that the local supply voltage corresponds with the
voltage on the rating plate on your appliance.
• Make sure that the plug which is to be used has a proper earth contact.
• Do not use the appliance if you notice any damage to the lead or any other functional defects. If
replacement of the flexible mains lead is required, an authorised customer service agent must carry
this out.
• Place the appliance on a level horizontal surface. Do not place on a metal or hot surface.
• The appliance must never be immersed in water.
• To avoid accidents with hot water, ensure that the lead does not hang loose.
• Never fill the kettle above the maximum mark and never use anything except pure water, if
necessary with some vinegar (no milk, coffee, etc.).
• Start the kettle only when the lid is closed and do not open the lid while in operation.
• Caution. The appliance becomes hot. It may then be touched or lifted only by the handle. The lid
must not be opened during pouring. Danger of scaling from escaping steam.
• After use of the kettle, always empty completely. Never allow standing with water remaining inside
for a prolonged period.
• Do not operate the kettle without water or allow to boil dry.
• Children do not always understand the dangers which can arise when operating electrical appliance.
Therefore store and operate the appliance away from children.
• Always unplug the kettle after each use.
