Configuration of each battery sensor is
critical
. A mis-configured sensor will not only give inaccurate
information on the display but can cause battery damage.
The Integrel sensors can work on 12V, 24V and 48V battery banks, made up of any number of 12V, 24V or
48V battery blocks (for example, a 48V bank made up of two 24V batteries, or four 12V batteries).
To configure a battery bank, select it using the arrows on the data screen (the ID number displayed will
match the ID number printed on the battery sensor case). When the correct battery is displayed, press
the ‘Edit Settings’ button. After a short pause while the settings are requested, you will enter the battery
configuration page:
The first important setting to change here is the battery bank voltage, by pressing the appropriate button.
This setting requires the sensor to perform a lot of reconfiguring of other data points, so changing the
voltage may take a few seconds.
Next, select the correct battery type from the list of available batteries. This list currently contains only
batteries that have been tested with the Integrel system.
It is not recommended that you use the system
with other battery types or manufacturers without contacting Integrel for support.
