TRACTOR-DRIVEN PTO HYDRALUIC SYSTEM
i.
Make sure the PTO is off.
ii.
Make sure the flow control valve (Figure 8, Page 13) is shut off.
iii.
Check the connections between the tractor and the truck bed to
ensure the pressure and return lines are connected properly and
securely.
iv.
Ensure the rear door is open. (
Procedures for opening the door are
above this procedure.)
v.
Engage the PTO on the tractor.
OPERATE THE CONVEYOR
PTO
1)
Open rear door using appropriate procedure above.
2)
Adjust the flow control valve (Figure 8, Page 13) to obtain the desired
conveyor speed. If the desired speed cannot be reached with the flow
control valve completely open, increase the engine rpm on the tractor.
3)
Reduce the engine rpm on the tractor to idle before trying to control the
conveyor speed with the flow control valve.
Electric
1)
Open rear door using appropriate procedure above.
2)
Adjust the flow control valve (Figure 9, Page 13) to obtain the desired
conveyor speed
