Open Channel Frame Mounting
1)
Line up the holes in the top “L” shaped
bracket with the ones on the truck bed
frame rail and place a Grade 5, 5/8” nut
and bolt. Do not tighten the nut and bolt
at this time.
2)
Place the bottom bracket (with the pivot
bolts loose) onto the bottom flange of the
truck’s frame and push it up against the
frame rail.
3)
Use an appropriate Grade 5, 5/8 bolt,
washers, and nyloc nut to attach the top
“L” bracket to the swivel on the bottom
clamp.
4)
When the mount is in place, as shown,
tighten all nuts and bolts, including the
pivot bolt.
