OPTION: 331-21-00 PASSIVE OPTION MODULE
This optional module is capable of changing over the following signals:
•
Black and burst (BB)
•
Tri-Level-Sync (TLS)
•
AES/DARS (unbalanced via BNC)
•
Word clock, 10 MHz, 27 MHz
•
SD/HD/3G SDI video
There is no monitoring, detection or reporting capability.
Each option module provides two changeover “channels”, where a channel comprises two inputs
(A and B) plus one switched output. The module may be fitted in any of the six available option slots.
Mentor CX uses the high density ‘Micro BNC’ connector type, which is interchangeable with the
Amphenol ‘HD BNC’ range. The image below shows the option module fitted in the last available
option slot, numbered 17/18.
