9. Timer
The “TIMER” menu is displayed by pressing the “MENU” button on the RCU and selecting
“TIMER”.
There are two options available:
“TIME ADJUST” – Usually real time information is received automatically via the
transmission but sometimes this information is incorrect. In these circumstances,
“Time Adjust” allows the local date and time to be set manually.
“TIME RESERVATION” – This allows up to 10 timer events to be
set.
The following information can be programmed:
o
Timer number
– Up to 10 events can be entered
o
Turn On Channel
– This sets the required channel
o
Timer Type
– This determines how many times the
event is repeated. The options are Once, Daily, Weekly
or Monthly.
o
Event Type
– This determines what the receiver does at
the set time. Options are: Turn On, Turn Off and
Record.
o
Enable
– This enables or disables the event.
o
Date
– Shows the date information
o
Time
– Shows the Time information
o
Duration
– Sets the Duration of the timer event.
