  HDD Manager also allows access to the following functions: 

 

DELETE 

– To delete a recorded programme press the RED button on the 

RCU. A banner asking for confirmation is displayed, select OK to confirm. 
Note: a deleted programme is permanently deleted from the hard drive. 

 

FORMAT HDD 

– To format your hard drive, press the GREEN button on the 

RCU. 

 

REMOVE USD - To safely remove your USB Memory device, press the 
YELLOW button on the RCU. Select OK before removing the device. 

 

To view a recorded programme, select a recorded programme from the 
recording list and: 

  Press the BLUE button on the RCU to view in the preview screen.

Press “MENU” on the RCU to “RENAME” the recorded programmes, (via 
a keypad display) 

or to “SORT” the recorded programmes, (by date or

7.3 Copy Settings to USB Device 

This allows the receiver settings and channel list to be downloaded to a USB device. (The 
file is saved as “userdata.bin”). 

7.4 Restore Settings from USB Device 

This allows receiver settings and channel list to be uploaded from a USB device. This is an 
useful and user-friendly procedure when several receivers are required to have the same 
settings and channels installed. 

 

8.0  EPG (Electronic Program Guide) 

The  EPG  function  displays  the  TV  Guide  (or  Radio  Guide  if  you  are  listening  to  radio 
channels)

. It is accessed by pressing the “GUIDE” button on the RCU. 

Date  and  time  information  is  listed  horizontally  and  channels  are  listed  vertically.  Use  the 

,

”  buttons  on  the  RCU  to  navigate  within  the  EPG  screen.  Programme 

schedules are displayed within the table. 

A 7 Day EPG is displayed for Terrestrial channels while a Now and Next EPG is displayed 
for Satellite channels. 

Within the EPG screen there are also functions controlled using the coloured buttons on the 
RCU: 

 

  Press the YELLOW button on the RCU to move the programme schedule 

forward 6 hours. 

 

  Press  the  GREEN  button on the  RCU to  move the  programme  schedule  

back 6 hours. 

 

  Press the RED button on the RCU to set a timer from the EPG data.  

 

  Press the BLUE button on the RCU for additional programme information
