8 FIRST INSTALLATION
The first time you turn it On will be asked to set the basic configuration of the decoder.
To navigate within the menus, use the navigation buttons
and
, press OK to confirm the selection or press
the EXIT button (13) to exit.
REGIONE: press the navigation buttons
select the country where the channels are scanned;
LINGUA: press the navigation buttons
until the desired menu language is selected;
MODO DISPLAY: press OK and then the navigation buttons
to select the screen resolution;
MODO ASPETTO: press the navigation buttons
to select the broadcast viewing mode;
Select OK and press the OK button to start automatic channel scan.
The search starts automatically and all available TV programs are stored progressively; the operation takes a
few minutes.
Digital channel scanning can be terminated by pressing the EXIT button (13).
When the scan is complete, a warning message will be displayed. Confirm by pressing the OK button.
Note: At the end of the digital terrestrial channel scan, the same channel with different frequencies
in conflict of LCN numbering may be displayed. Select the frequency to assign the LCN number and
press the OK button.
9 DIGITAL TERRESTRIAL TELEVISION (DTV)
To navigate the menus, use the navigation buttons
and
, press the OK key to enter and the EXIT key (13) to
exit the menu items. Press the OK button to confirm the selection. Press the EXIT button (13) to exit the menu.
9.1 OPERATION
9.1.1 CHANGE MENU LANGUAGE
Press the MENU button (12) to enter the MAIN MENU;
Press the navigation buttons
until selecting SYSTEM SETUP and press the OK button;
Select LANGUAGE and press the OK button. Press the navigation buttons
until selecting the OSD
language (menu) in ENGLISH or another desired language;
Press the EXIT button (13) to exit.
9.1.2 AUTO CHANNELS SCAN
Press the MENU button (12) to enter the MAIN MENU;
Press the navigation buttons
until selecting INSTALLATION and press the OK button;
Select the AUTO CHANNELS SCAN and press the OK button;
Select SEARCH and confirm with the OK button;
The search starts automatically and all available TV programs are stored progressively; the operation takes a
few minutes.
A warning message will be displayed when the scan is complete. Confirm by pressing the OK button.
Note: If the TV displays the message “NO SIGNAL” it means that it is not receiving a signal, so you
must check the cable or the antenna system.
9.1.3 MANUAL CHANNELS SCAN
Press the MENU button (12) to enter the MAIN MENU;
Press the navigation buttons
until selecting INSTALLATION and press the OK button;
Select MANUAL CHANNELS SCAN and press the OK button;
In SCAN BAND select the VHF or UHF band;
In CHANNEL No select the number of the channel on which you want to perform manual tuning;
Select SEARCH and confirm with the OK button.
Note: If the TV displays the message “NO SIGNAL” it means that no signal is being transmitted on that
channel.
