Note:
The Sanding belt has directional arrows printed on the inside of the belt (Fig.8).

Sanding belts come in different grades i.e. rough through to smooth. Select the grade
according to the material operated on.
Locate the sanding belt on the rollers (see Fig.9) Make sure the sanding belt does not touch
the sides of the casing and that the arrows, printed on the inside of the sanding belt point in
the direction of travel. Release the tension lever.

Note:
Caution is required as the lever is under spring tension. Make sure the lever closes
fully. With the new sanding belt fitted it must be checked to ensure that it is running centrally
on the rollers (see section Centralizing the Sanding Belt).
Maintenance
Warning:
Always ensure that the tool is switched off and the plug is removed from the
power point before making any adjustments or maintenance procedures. Keep the tools air
vents unclogged and clean at all times.
1.Regularly check to see if any dust or foreign matter has entered the grills near the motor
and around the trigger switch. Use a soft brush to remove any accumulated dust. Wear
safety glasses to protect your eyes whilst cleaning.
