Outdoor Linear Burners
Accessing the Pressure Tap
NOTE:
If you are accessing the pressure tap to take a
manifold pressure reading only, it is now accessible
and you do not need to remove the rest of the
burner.
If you are trying to gain access to the
other components, skip this step and proceed to
the next section.
Locate the pressure tap shown to the right. It is
approximately in the center of the appliance.
Use a manometer to test the gas manifold gas pressure.
Removing the Burner
NOTE:
If you are accessing the gas or electrical connections you do not need to remove anything else on the top
portion of the burner tray.
If you are trying to gain access to the orifice(s) to convert the appliance to
LP gas, follow the steps below.
Remove the screws that
secure the burner to the tray
assembly (8 for a 36"
appliance or 12 for a 60"
appliance, and 24 for a 120"’
appliance). Set screws aside
for reinstallation.
Lift the burner out of the
appliance and set it aside for
reinstallation.
