Setting the video size
The desired video size can be selected from the Function menu. The following resolutions
are available:

720p30
: recording in HD quality at 1280 x 720 pixels and 30 frames per second
[
]
VGAp30
: recording in VGA quality at 640 x 480 pixels and 30 frames per second
[
]
720p30 (Painting)
: recording in HD quality per second with painting eff ect. The
option ”Continuous AF" is automatically set to ”On“.
The “720p“ video sizes can then only be selected if a SDHC memory card of class 4 or higher
is used.
Setting of Wind noise reduction
Select option “Wind noise“ [
] from the Function menu to reduce wind noise during
video recording. Select the “On” setting.
PIV function
If the shutter release is pressed during video recording, a photo is also taken at the same
resolution of the video. Above the recording time the Photo symbol [
] and the number
of photos then appears. Once the maximum number of possible photos has been reached,
the symbol and number appear in red but the video recording
continues.
The function is only available in video sizes 720p30 and VGAp30.
