Focus settings
In many situations the camera can automatically select the required focus setting. For
close-ups or remote scenes and photos of persons, the focussing can also be adapted to the
special subject matter. Apart from Auto focus, the respective setting is shown in the display.
The camera features the following focus settings:

Auto Focus
: The camera focuses automatically.

]
Super Macro
: Use this mode for close-ups within a range of 5 - 60 cm.

Pan Focus
: The main feature of this mode is "Depth of Field" (DOF); this feature is
not suitable for close-ups.

Infi nity
: For capturing objects at great distance, i.e. scenery, mountain ranges
and
similar.

Manual Focus
: When in Manual focus, the focal distance can be adjusted bet-
ween 30cm and 100 cm by pressing the
S
/
T
buttons. Press the OK button
to set the focus and close the Settings window.
To select the desired focus setting proceed as follows:
1. In Photo mode press the [
O
] button and, using the
W
/
X
buttons, select the desired
mode.
2. Confi rm the selection by pressing the
OK
button.
