Cutting Blade
Note:
To check the balancing of the blade, place
a round tube into the hole in the blade and
make sure it is balanced, as shown in the
following, otherwise, perform balancing by
rectifying cutting region until withdrawal
material balance the blade again.
The cutting blade is made of special steel, induction
quenching at the cutting region, allowing greater
safety and durability.
In order to accomplish a perfect cut, conserve you
mower blade always well sharpen and, due to safety
reasons, replace the blade whenever it is damaged,
always using adequate gloves for its assembly and
disassembly.
If the lawn mower is vibrating, turn it off, removing
the spring plug cable, only then untighten the
screw and remove the cutting blade and conduct
the balancing, next, reinstall the spring plug cable
after mounting the balanced blade. If the vibration
persists, look for a TRAPP Technical Assistant.
Frequently inspect the blade for wear and possible
damage like fissures. Always keep the screw that
secures the blade tight. Recommended torque of
35 N.m. in the knife screw.
To check whether the balance is right, place a
screw driver in the blade hole and observe the
balance. If it is not right, balance it by sharpening
the blade until the removal of material leaves it
balanced again (Fig. 7).

Use TRAPP blades only.
Re-install blade onto support disc, respecting
cutting direction with motor direction.
How to remove the cutting blade
Attention!
Before removing the blade, disconnect the spark
plug cable. The blade has sharp edges, use gloves
or a cloth to protect the hands.
1. Drain the fuel tank;
2.
Raise the right-hand-side of the machine;
3.
Use a piece of wood to keep the blade secure;
4.
Remove the screw that secures the blade;
5. Check the blade according to the Instructions
Manual. Replace worn or damaged blades;
6.
Tighten the blade with the original screws;
7.
Tighten the screws that lock the cutting blade with
a torque of 35 N.m.
