Warranty
Policy

All
Transcend
Information,
Inc.
("Transcend")
products
are
warranted
and
tested
to
be
free
from
defects
in
material
and
workmanship
and
to
conform
to
the
published
specifications.
During
the
warranty
period,
should
your
product(s)
fail
under
normal
environment
and
operating
conditions
due
to
improper
workmanship
or
materials,
Transcend
will
provide
warranty
service
pursuant
to
the
following
terms
and
conditions.
Warranty
Period
and
Service
•
Your
MP710
product
is
covered
by
this
Warranty
for
a
period
of
two
year(s)
from
the
original
purchase
date
(
Li
‐
Polymer
battery
for
a
period
of
six
months
)
.
Proof
of
the
original
purchase
date
is
required
for
warranty
service.
•
Transcend
will
inspect
the
product
and
at
its
sole
discretion
make
repairs
or
replace
it
with
a
new
or
refurbished
one.
Under
special
circumstances,
Transcend
may
provide
a
functionally
equivalent
replacement
or
refund
at
the
depreciated
cost.
Transcend’s
decision
shall
be
final
and
binding.
•
Regarding
out
‐
of
‐
warranty
products,
Transcend
may
reasonably
charge
for
repairs
and
parts
replacement.
Limitations
•
Any
software
or
digital
content
included
with
the
product,
in
disc,
preloaded
or
downloadable
form,
is
not
covered
under
this
Warranty.
This
Warranty
does
not
cover
any
damage
caused
by
any
accident,
man
‐
made
destroy,
abuse,
mishandling
or
improper
usage,
alteration,
abnormal
mechanical
or
environmental
condition,
acts
of
nature,
improper
installation,
or
problems
with
electrical
power.
•
This
Warranty
will
be
void
for
product
physical
defect
or
appearance
damage,
alteration
to
product
warranty,
anti
‐
counterfeit/quality
stickers
or
serial/electronic
numbers,
or
unauthorized
repair
or
opening/modification
of
the
product
case.
•
This
Warranty
does
not
apply
to
the
transferees
of
products
and/or
anyone
who
stands
to
profit
from
this
Warranty
without
Transcend's
prior
written
authorization.

FOR
DATA
LOSS
FOR

REASON,

WILL
NOT
PROVIDE
THE
SERVICE
OF

NO
LIABILITY
FOR
ANY
PRODUCT
DEFECT
OR
DAMAGE

LOSS
ARISING
FROM

WARRANTY

BACKUP
OF

DATA
PRIOR
TO
CLAIMING
WARRANTY

DISCLAIMS

WARRANTY

DAMAGES,

FAILURE

LIABLE
FOR

PERSONAL
INJURY

DEATH
AND
PROPERTY
LOSS
ARISING
FROM
THE
USE

THE
PRODUCT
IN
THE
EQUIPMENT
WHICH
PERSONAL
INJURY
OR
DEATH
IS
LIKELY
TO
BE
CAUSED
BY
DEFECT
AND
MALFUNCTION
OF
THE
PRODUCT,
INCLUDING
BUT
NOT
LIMITED
TO
MEDICAL
OR
MEDICAL
‐
RELATED
EQUIPMENT,
MILITARY
OR
MILITARY
‐
RELATED
EQUIPMENT,
AIRCRAFT,
TRAFFIC
CONTROL
EQUIPMENT,
DISASTER
PREVENTION
SYSTEM,
COMBUSTION
CONTROL
SYSTEM,

EQUIPMENT.

third
parties

employees

service

providing
basis.
