6. SAFETY DEVICE
Hydrofor™ hydraulic jacks are fitted with a safety valve which limits overloads. This device is
factory-set and does not require any special maintenance.

A manufacturer's plate is attached to each unit and includes the following information:
- No.1: Type of device
- No. 2: Working Load Limit in t
- No. 3: Serial No.
- No. 4: Year of manufacture
- No. 5: EC marking
- No. 6: Manufacturer's contact details
- No. 7: Read these instructions before using this device.
7. HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK
