Command in the
Interface Range gigabitEthernet
Mode is executed
independently on all ports in the range. It does not effect the execution on the
other ports at all if the command results in an error on one port.
Example
To enter the Interface Range gigabitEthernet Configuration Mode, and configure
Gigabit Ethernet ports 27 and 28 at the same time by adding them to one
port-list:

interface range gigabitEthernet

command is used to add a description to the Ethernet port. To
clear the description of the corresponding port, please use
no description
command.
