Note 1: In the event the igniter is disconnected, push into the HEAT switch to ON
position, so the power lamp and flame lamp start flickering at the same time to
discontinue the operation. If this occurs, change the igniter. The normal
resistance of the igniter is rated at approximately 1.8
Ω
.
Note 2: The heater extinguishes when the power rises 17.2V while in operation.
[HOW TO REPLACE IGNITER]
The igniter can be replaced when the heater is being installed.
1. Unscrew each four

hexagonal bolts and remove the cabinet B and
under panel. One of the two
“

”
hexagonal bolts should be left engaged with the
cabinet in order to prevent the unit under repair from falling off.
3. Unscrew four screws for igniter from the front panel
side.
4. Reassemble the new igniter in position. Be
careful not to disturb its top and bottom
position.
Note: Care is to be taken not to peel or
damage the burner mat from the
burner bottom, when inserting the
igniter into the burner. The damaged
burner mat causes ignition troubles.
