2-1. Introduction

Basic requirements for fuel tank installation
The heater can be located almost anywhere within the dwelling provided that electrical,
fuel and exhaust specifications are met.
- IMPORTANT -
Before beginning installation of the cabin heater (including any electrical wiring and fuel
supply equipment), check local building, boat, electrical, mechanical and fire codes. The
requirement of these codes must be followed to insure lawful installation and use.
2-2. Physical Placement of Heater
In addition to the space taken up by the heater, interior space must also be reserved for
free air circulation. Remove all combustibles from the heating area.
Unless building, boat or fire codes dictate otherwise, the cabin heater can be placed on
any floor surface or wall (including carpeting or other combustible materials) and provide
safe operation.
2-3. Power
Requirement
This model runs with the power supply rated at DC 12V.
- IMPORTANT -
Be sure to connect the power supply cord according to the plus (+) and minus (-)
markings.
2-4. Fuel Tank Requirements
The fuel must be stored in the clean individual fuel tank or engine fuel tank.
