Characteristics
• electromechanical swing gate operator for 230Va.c.
• max. weight of gate wings 350 kg
• suitable for installation at already existing gates
• incl. mounting parts
• self-locking steel spindle
• for private use, approx. 20 cycles/day
•
General features
The swing gate operator TOUSEK TURN, can be easily installed at new and also already existing swing gate facilities. The
drive unit works electromechanically and consists of a connecting rod made of stainless steel with an integrated, self-locking
spindle and a high-performance single-phase motor. These components are situated in an aluminium housing.
Due to its self-locking spindle the operator guarantees the blocking of the gate and therefore usually no electric-lock is re
-
quired.
But depending on the individual situation of assembly it may be necessary to install an additional locking (e.g. e-lock) for reach
-
ing a fix blocking of the gate in its travel limits – even at self-blocking gate operators.
A key for emergency release permits the manual opening of the gate in case of e.g. power failures.
At rising gate entrances, additionally the optional hinge joint has to be mounted.

•
Max. wing widths do neither apply to full-panel gates (but to stave or trellised gates) nor to non-horizontal gates!
*)
With rising gates the max. leaf width and gate weight have to be reduced up to 50%.
The pillar sided support bracket for the operator enables a possible gradient of up to 10°.
ATTENTION: RISK OF INJURY / DANGER OF DRIVE AND PROPERTY DAMAGE:
•
with rising / descending gates it is absolutely necessary to install a damper (e.g. a gas pressure damper) in order
to avoid uncontrolled movements of the gate leaves when the motor is released!
