SIM Card
Before using your phone, be sure to do the following.

Insert the SIM card in your phone.

Insert the battery pack in your phone (page 24).
About the SIM Card
The SIM card contains customer information such as your phone number. Only insert
the SIM card in a SIM card compatible phone. If the SIM card is not inserted, the phone
cannot be used.
Inserting & Removing the SIM Card
Before inserting or removing the SIM card, remove the battery pack. For details on
removing the battery pack, see page 24. Make sure the power is turned off before
removing the SIM card.

Open the battery cover and remove the battery pack.
2.
With the IC surface facing downwards, insert the SIM card in the direction shown on
the left while keeping it straight.
To remove the SIM card, slide it out as shown on the left.
