Use this special feature of the T2000 to copy BIOS functions from ROM to RAM for
faster access while you’re using the T2000. You must have at least 128KB of
extended memory to select
Enable
. Since the BIOS subroutines are accessed
often, enabling this option significantly improves the T2000’s operating speed.
Enable
Copies BIOS from BIOS ROM to RAM.
Disable
Accesses BIOS from BIOS ROM.

DISPLAY
(1)
LCD Display Mode
If an external monitor is not attached to the T2000, this option determines whether
the LCD uses the monochrome mode or color mode. If there is a monitor attached
to the T2000, the T2000’s LCD display mode is determined by the mode of the
monitor (either monochrome or color), and the setting for this option has no effect.
Color
Displays in color mode. The T2000 converts 262,144 colors
to 16 intensity levels of gray for the LCD. This is the default
setting.
Monochrome
Displays in monochrome mode. The T2000 converts 64
intensity levels of gray to 16 intensity levels of gray for the
LCD.
(2)
LCD Gray Scale
This specifies the relationship between the brightness levels for characters displayed
in normal and intense display modes. A setting of
Bright
causes the T2000 to use
the maximum brightness level (gray scale level 15) to display characters. A setting
of
Semi-Bright
causes the T2000 to use a slightly lower brightness level (gray
scale level 11).
