CIX670/1200 Primary AC Power
AC Power
The fully configured CIX1200 will require two 20 Ampere, 208 VAC or 240 VAC, single phase power
circuits, one for each equipment stack. Refer to Figure 11.
The seven cabinet Base Cabinet Stack requires a maximum of about 15.5 amps at 240 volts. The five
cabinet Expansion Cabinet Stack requires a maximum of about 11 amps. Therefore, a twelve cabinet
system will require two 20-Amp AC circuits. Refer to the CIX670 and CIX670 rackmount chapters in
the Strata CIX Installation and Maintenance Manual. Follow the wiring procedures appropriate for the
number of cabinets in each stack.
Of course, a one to five cabinet CIX1200 system can use standard 115 VAC power. Refer to the Strata
CIX Installation Manual for more details.
