4 Replacement Procedures

4.8 Optical Disc Drive module

Removing the Optical Disc Drive module

To remove the Optical Disc Drive module, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-12
and 4-13.

CAUTION: The Optical Disc Drive module can become hot with use. Be careful when

removing the module.

Remove the following

screw

securing the latch of the Optical Disc Drive.

FLAT HEAD screw

While pulling the module towards the direction of the arrow in the figure below,

remove the
