3. 8 ODD Test 

The ODD test allows a user to aurally confirm the ODD functions. 

NOTE: 

A CD disc (including data file) must be inserted into the ODD drive then you 

must wait for the ODD drive initial OK (ODD LED stop flashing) before this test starts

. 

 

The ODD test includes two subtests of the:

 

1.

 

Random read/partial sequential read function 

2.

 

Eject ODD door 

The screen should display as below, indicating whether the subtests pass or fail when finished.
