Running mode indicators

Indicates the running mode selected.

SETTING indicator

Displayed when setting the timer or other 
functions.

Check indicator

Displayed when the protective 
device activates or an error 
occurs.

Time indicator

Indicates the time of the timer.
(Indicates a check code when an error 
occurs)

 blinks on the display of the remote control the first time the 

leakage breaker is turned on. The initial settings are progressing 

while 

 is blinking. Start to use the remote control after it has 

disappeared.

All indicators are displayed in the display example below for reference. During use, only the selected options will 
be displayed on the screen.

Central control indicator

Displayed when the air conditioner is controlled centrally and used with 
central control devices such as the central remote control.
If the use of the remote control is prohibited by the central control, 
[

] blinks when the ON/OFF, MODE, or TEMP. button on the 

remote control is pressed, and the buttons do not function. (Settings 
that can be configured on the remote control differ depending on the 
mode of the central control. For details, read the Owner’s Manual for 
the central remote control.)

No function indicator

Displayed when there is no function available for the 
pressed button.

Temperature setting indicator

Indicates the temperature setting.

Pre-heat indicator

Displayed when heating is starting or while defrosting.
While the indicator is displayed, the indoor fan is stopped 
or the air circulation is running.

Power saving display

Displayed during capacity saving mode.
*Cannot be used when combined with SMMS.

Remote control sensor indicator

Displayed when the remote control 
sensor is used.

UNIT No. indicator

Indicates the unit Number of the indoor unit selected using the 
UNIT button, or the indoor/outdoor on which an error has occurred.

Test run indicator

Displayed during test run.

Air volume display

For floor type (direct type, duct type) air conditioners 
this displays only when it is set to high.

Timer indicators

When the timer setting button is pressed, it 
changes in this order: .

Filter indicator

Clean the air filter when this appears.

Prep. display

This indicates preparation status on some models.

Running mode lock indicator

Displayed when the MODE button is 
pressed at a time when the air 
conditioner has been set to cooling or 
heating by the air conditioner 
administrator.

The LCD may temporarily become 
blurred due to static electricity.
