CONTROLS AND FEATURES
Using the Media Player
This TV allows you to enjoy movie, music and
photo files stored on a USB device connected to
the USB port.
Moreover, you can also play photos, movies or
music files from your PC by connecting the TV
to your home network.
Terminology:
DMP: Digital Media Player
DMS: Digital Media Server
DMR: Digital Media Renderer
DMC: Digital Media Controller
• DMP: The TV can control and play content from a DMS.
- A DMS is a device that can function as a server for
DMP or DMR.
• DMR: The TV can play content from a DMS. Playback is
controlled by a DMC.
- A DMC is a device that can instruct the TV to play
content.
NOTE:
• Do not insert/remove USB device while in use.
• MENU is not available during playback.
• When you want to use your TV as a media renderer, set
Media Renderer to On (see “Media Renderer Setup” on
page 47).

Using Media Player with USB
When Auto Start is enabled, you will be asked if
you want to start the Media Player whenever a
USB device is inserted. If Auto Start is disabled
(or if you want to connect to a media server on the
network), you must manually start the Media
Player from the menu.
To change the Auto Start setting:

to select Media Player Setup
and press OK .

to select USB Auto Start and press
OK .

Press B / b to select On or Off .
Auto Start
a
Insert a USB device into the USB port on the left
side of the TV. A prompt will appear.

Press C / c to select Yes and press OK .

to select Videos , Music or Photos
and press OK .

Press BbC c to select Devices and press OK .

to select a device and press OK .
NOTE: If Auto Start is set to Off , you can start the Media
Player manually.
Manual Start

Insert a USB device into the USB port on the left
side of the TV.

Press and select My Music , My Videos , My
Photos or My Contents icon and press OK .

Press BbC c to select Devices and press OK .
d
Press B / b to select a device and press OK .
Files are displayed in the List View according to the
category (
Videos , Music or Photos ) and device you last
selected.
