Maintenance
WARNING
Cleaning the air filter and other parts of the air filter involves dangerous work in high places, ask a qualified
service person to do it.
Do not attempt to do it by yourself.
To avoid the possibility of electric shock, always turn off the system’s power before performing any system
cleaning or maintenance. Turn off the outdoor disconnect switch located near the outdoor unit.
Operating the system with dirty filters may damage the indoor unit and could cause reduced cooling
performance.
Periodic Maintenance - periodic maintenance is recommended to ensure proper operation of the unit.
Recommended maintenance intervals may vary depending on the installation environment, e.g. dusty zones. Refer
to the following table.
Periodic Maintenance
NOTE
The high static ducted type and slim ducted type are not equipped with an air filter when shipped from the factory.
The type of air filter (field supplied), installation position, and maintenance method vary depending on the local duct
design. For details, contact the contractor or dealer from whom you purchased the product.
