The RS-485 communication cable must
be earthed on Smart BMS Manager. It
does not have to be earthed on Digital
Input / Output Relay Interface.
Set the Digital Input / Output Relay
Interface address with SW1. Assign 1 to 8
to each address to avoid duplication. You
can set the Digital Input / Output Relay
Interface address independently from the
Energy Monitoring Relay Interface
address.
CAUTION:
The SW1 setting is read when
the power is turned on. Push the reset
switch (SW6) after changing the address.
Set the RS-485 terminator resistor on an
Energy Monitoring Relay Interface.
Set SW7 as "120 ohm" on a Digital Input /
Output Relay Interface with address
SW1=1, when the Digital Input / Output
Relay Interface is used in a system without
Energy Monitoring Relay Interface. Set
SW7 as "Open" on the other interfaces.
The RS-485 signal
wire has polarity A
and B. Be careful
when connecting
the wire.
