WARNING
A raised cargo box can fall and injure persons that are underneath it.
You must raise the cargo box to perform some routine maintenance.
•
Always use the prop rod to hold the cargo box up before working under it.
•
Remove any load material from the cargo box before working under it.
CAUTION
If you leave the key in the key switch, someone could accidently start the machine and seriously injure
you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the key switch and disconnect a battery cable before you do any maintenance.

Maintaining the Machine under
Special Operating Conditions
If the machine is subjected to any of the conditions listed
below, maintenance should be performed twice as frequently.
•
Desert operation
•
Cold climate operation—below 10°C (50°F)
•
Trailer towing
•
Frequent operation in dusty conditions
•
Construction work
•
After extended operation in mud, sand, water, or similar
dirty conditions, have your brakes inspected and cleaned
as soon as possible. This prevents any abrasive material
from causing excessive wear.
