Fuel Shut-off Valve
The fuel shut-off valve (

) is located on the engine.
The valve has two positions: Closed and Open. Move the
lever to the closed position when storing or transporting
machine. Open the valve before starting the engine. The fuel
cup is located below the shut-off valve.

Kickstand
The kickstand (
Figure 20
) is mounted to the rear of the
machine and is used to raise the rear of the machine for
installation or removal of the transport wheels and to keep the
machine for falling onto the handle when you remove the reel.
•
To use the kickstand to install the transport wheels, lower
it to the ground and step down on the kickstand loop
while pulling up and back on the lower center machine
handle (
Figure 19
).
Important:
Only put foot pressure down on the
kickstand loop, and only use the lower center
machine handle to raise the unit. Attempting to raise
the unit onto the kickstand by any other means can
cause injury.
