Controls
Become familiar with all the controls ( Figure 5 ) before you
start the engine and operate the machine.

Hour Meter
The hour meter records the number of hours the engine has
operated. It operates when the engine is running. Use these
times for scheduling regular maintenance (
Figure 5 ).
Safety-Interlock Indicators
Symbols on the hour meter indicate with a black triangle that
the interlock component is in the correct position (
Figure 5 ).
Battery-Indicator Light
If the ignition key is turned to the O
N
position for a few
seconds, the battery voltage displays in the area where the
hours are normally displayed.
The battery light turns on when the ignition is turned on and
when the charge is below the correct operating level (
Figure
5 ).
Throttle Control
The throttle control is variable between the F
AST
and S
LOW
positions ( Figure 5 ).
