Perform the following safety check:
i.
Sit on the seat and start the engine.
ii.
Make sure that the blades do not engage
with the PTO switched off and the clutch
disengaged.
If the clutch does not disengage, install
the shim and reference
(page 63)

iii.
Engage and disengage the PTO switch
10 consecutive times to ensure that the
clutch is functioning properly. If the
clutch does not engage properly, reference
Troubleshooting (page 63)

adequate cooling and correct engine speed and will reduce
the possibility of overheating and mechanical damage to the

Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes

1.
Disengage the PTO and set the parking brake.
2.
Stop the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving
parts to stop before leaving the operating position.
3.
Remove the air intake screen, recoil starter and fan
housing (
).
4.
Clean the debris and grass from the engine parts.
5.
Install air intake screen, recoil starter and fan housing
(
).
