Preparing the Machine
No Parts Required
Procedure
1.
Move the machine onto a level surface, set the parking
brake, shut off the pump, shut off the engine, and
remove the ignition key.
2.
Unlatch the seat by pushing the seat-latch handle
rearward (

Prop rod
3.
Rotate the seat and seat plate forward until the end of
the prop rod at the prop-rod bracket is at the bottom
of the groove of the bracket (
).
4.
Disconnect the battery by removing the bolt and nut
that secures the terminal of the positive-battery cable
to the positive post of the battery.
Note:
Ensure that the terminal of the battery cable
does not touch the post.

Removing the Seat

Remove the electrical connector of the chassis harness
that connects to the seat-switch connector (
