Changing the Engine-Oil Filter
Service Interval:
Every 200 hours
Note:
Change the engine-oil filter more frequently
when operating conditions are extremely dusty or
sandy.
1.
Drain the oil from the engine; refer to
the Engine Oil (page 33)
.
2.
Place a rag under the oil filter to soak up any
spilled oil.
Important:
Spilled oil may drain under the
engine and onto the clutch. Oil spilled on
the clutch may damage the clutch, cause
the blades to stop slowly when the clutch is
in the Off position, and cause the clutch to
slip when the clutch is switched to the On
position. Wipe up any spilled oil.
3.
Change the engine-oil filter (
