Tighten the clamp bolts and torque to 102 N∙m
(75 ft-lb).
Replacing the Tracks
When the tracks are badly worn, replace them.
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, engage the
parking brake, and lower the boom.
2.
Shut off the engine and remove the key.
3.
Lift and support the side of the unit to be worked
on so that the track is 7.6 to 10 cm (3 to 4
inches) off the ground.

Back out the tensioning bolt and jam nut (

Loosen the clamp bolts (

6.
Push the front road wheel rearward as far as it
can goes (

Begin removing the track at the top of the front
road wheel, peeling it off the wheel while rotating
the track forward.
Note:
You may need to remove the front,
outside road wheel. To remove it, remove the
snap ring and cap from the center of the road
wheel (
). Next remove the bolt and
gasket from the center of the wheel and pull the
wheel off the machine.
