Install the ROPS (Rollover
Protection System)

Bolt, 1/2 inch
Procedure
1. Align each side of the ROPS with the mounting holes
on each side of vehicle frame as shown in Figure 4.
2. Secure each side of the ROPS to frame with 3 bolts
(1/2 inch) and tighten then to 85 ft-lb (115 N-m).

Activate and Charge the
Battery
(TC Models Only)

Electrolyte
Procedure
If the battery is not filled with electrolyte or activated, it
must be removed from the vehicle, filled with electrolyte
and charged. Bulk electrolyte with 1.260 specific gravity
can be purchased from a local battery supply outlet.

Wash hands after handling.
DANGER
Battery electrolyte contains sulfuric acid which is a
deadly poison and causes severe burns.

Do not drink electrolyte and avoid contact with
skin, eyes or clothing. Wear safety glasses to
shield your eyes and rubber gloves to protect
your hands.

Fill the battery where clean water is always
available for flushing the skin.
