Please note that the scope of the warranty is restricted to private use of the system. We defi ne private use as a
maximum of 10 cycles (OPEN/CLOSE) per day.

Maintenance / checks
Note

For your safety, we recommend that the door system be checked before initial use and as needed – at least
once a year – in accordance with “Check list for the garage door operator” on page 55. The check can be
carried out by a person with the corresponding qualifi cation certifi cate or by a specialist company.
Monitoring the force limits
The drive control unit features a 2-processor safety system to monitor the force limit. In an end position or after
restarting, the integrated power disconnection is tested automatically.
Caution:
Closing force set too high can lead to personal injury.
Check the force limits every month as described in the section “Checking force limit” on page 44 and document
them.
Cleaning / Care
Always pull the mains plug before working on the door or on the drive! If necessary, wipe the drive
with a dry cloth.
