Chapter 10

Firmware Update

The digital receiver has a stable and convenient ﬁrmware to use. You
can get the latest ﬁrmware and the ﬁrmware update tool, which runs
on most versions of Windows, from

http://www.i-topfield.com

10.1 From a memory stick

If you have a USB memory stick, you can update the ﬁrmware from it
by taking the following steps:

1. Download a new ﬁrmware from the Topﬁeld website.

2. Copy the ﬁrmware ﬁle to your memory stick.

3. Insert the USB memory stick into the

USB

port on the digital

receiver.

5. Select the

Installation

Firmware Upgrade

USB Firmware

Upgrade

menu, and the ﬁles in the USB memory will be listed.

6. Place the highlight bar on the right ﬁrmware ﬁle and press the

button, and a countdown will be displayed on the front dis-

play of the digital receiver.

7. When the message of ‘END’ appears, restart the digital receiver.
