NOTE: The keypad is universal for both wireless and wired application. You can try the wired application
if the interference affect the remote control range or the wireless code is not matching your gate opener.
You must use external wired power source to power up the keypad if you choose the wired application.

Installation of the Battery
NOTE: A 9VDC carbon battery is required to power the keypad unless an external power supply such as the gate
openers’ power source is used. A battery has been installed in the keypad in factory. You need to change the
battery if the wireless signal becomes weak. Low voltage wire from the external power source must be connected
to the 9-24VAC/DC power in terminals on the keypad control board if the battery is not installed.
Step 1: Remove the screw from the bottom of the keypad and separate the installing baseplate from the back
cover.
Step 2: Remove the screws to separate the back cover from the middle main functional part.
Step 3: Install 9VDC carbon battery.
