22. The safety rules and the instructions indicated in this user manual do not 
contain a comprehensive list of everything that could happen. The user and/or 
the operator must use the product carefully and with common sense.

II) Particular safety rules

Please read carefully the following information in order to use the product properly 
and to avoid electrocution, serious injuries and fire.
1. Do not use the gun if the product, the power supply cable or the mains plug 
are damaged.
2. Use the soldering gun in a ventilated room. Some soldering materials can 
create toxic fumes. Make sure that your have adequate ventilation. Never use the 
product in a closed and non-ventilated area. Always wear a helmet with a respi-
ratory system when soldering. A few wire types can contain high proportions of 
lead. 
3. Do not touch the hot tip even if the product is unplugged: there is a burn risk. 
Parts of this product reach very high temperatures.  You can only touch the han-
dle when you are soldering. The part between the tip and the handle is very hot. 
4. Turn off the product and wait for it to cool down before touching it or before 
changing an accessory.
5. Check that the gun tip are not unscrewed from the handle (only tighten when 
it is cold).
6. Do not use soldering gun with children around and keep out of their reach.
7. Use a non-flammable and stable support to hold the gun.
8. Check carefully where you put down the gun when you are not welding : the 
gun is lightweight and could accidently be pulled off the workbench by the cable
9. Make sure that flammable items are away from the gun. The heat can spread 
to objects next to the work area. Make sure that there is no source of combustion 
in the work area. Do not use these products next to a petrol tank or a gas bottle: 
the heat can burn soldering waste even when the product is unplugged.
10. Always turn the gun off during a break and do not leave the gun on when it 
is not supervised.
11. Do not work if there is the workpiece could be live or have current stored in it. 
12. The voltage must match data stated on the gun identification plate.
13. Any repair must be done by a specialist or a authorised after-sales depart-
ment.
