B. Change password operation
B1, Keep pressing "Lock” button, and then
connect Encrypted HDD enclosure to a
computer by USB cable.
B2, Keep pressing "Lock" button and wait for
5-10 seconds until the red LED and orange
LED brighten at the same time, then release
"Lock" button
.
B3, Enter existing password, then press
"Unlock" button to confirm it, at this time the
orange LED should turn off.
B4, Enter new password, then press "Unlock"
button to confirm it. (1~12 digits, please do
not press keys fast)
B5, Enter new password again, then press
"unlock" button to confirm it. At this time, red
LED should turn off and green LED should
brighten, now the password is changed
successfully
.
If the password changing
process is failed, please disconnect the
external enclosure from your PC and repeat
those steps B1 to B5.
C. Unlock your hard drive
C1, Connect the external enclosure to a PC
C2, Enter the password correctly and then
press the “Unlock” button, the green LED
should brighten.
C3, If the green LED is still off, please enter
the password again and press the the
“Unlock” button.
