2. Green LED blinks 1 time when press the
unlock button, and continuously brightens
when the disk is unlocked.
3. Orange LED continuously brightens when
in mode of password setup or password
changing, and turns off when the new
password is created successfully or the old
password introduced is correct.
4. Red LED blinks when the password
entered or operation is incorrect. It
continuously brightens when in lock mode,
and turns off after hard drive unlocked.
A. Password Setup
Note: During the password setup operation, all
data on your hard drive will be lost forever.
Please backup your data before creating a
password.
Please follow those steps carefully to create a
password.
A1, Keep pressing “1” and “3” button at the
same time, then plug the USB cable into a
computer’s USB port, and wait for 5-10
seconds until blue and red LED brighten
continuously.
A2, Release those keys "1" and "3", keep
pressing "Lock" button and wait for 5-10
seconds until the Orange LED light brightens
continuously.
A3, Enter your password (1~12 digits, please
do not press keys fast), then press "Unlock"
button to confirm it.
A4, Enter the password (the same as the
previous one) again, then press "Unlock"
button to confirm it. At this time the red LED
light should turn off and the green LED light
should brighten, it means password setup
with success. If the password setup is failed,
please disconnect the external enclosure
from your PC and repeat those steps A1-A4
A5, When the password is created correctly,
please partition and format your hard drive.
